NEW WORKSHOP Create Your Own Ceramic Plant Pots Location: Make Space, 3 West Alley, Hitchin, SG5 1EG Duration: 3 Hours - Am Session Participants: Maximum 6 people per session Workshop Overview: Join us for a hands-on introduction to hand-built slab pottery and pinch pots. In this workshop, you'll create 2 unique ceramic plant pots. We’ll guide you through making a slab-built cylinder and a little pinch pot. You can decorate using coloured underglazes, carving, or choosing a glaze. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, so whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll find the session enjoyable and rewarding. I will take care of firing and glazing your creation. You'll have a small selection of glazes to choose from to finish your piece. Once your mug is ready, I'll notify you for collection. What’s Included: - All Tools & Materials: Clay, tools, aprons - Firing & Glazing: After the workshop, your work will be fired and glazed. You can choose from a selection of glazes. - Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. What to Bring: - Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We provide aprons, but pottery can be messy work. - Nail Length: Short nails are recommended, but not essential. Location: The workshop takes place in the intimate setting of Make Space in Hitchin Town Centre. With only a small group per session, you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance throughout the workshop. Please Note: - Non-Refundable Policy: Classes are non-refundable.
